GNN transmissions can occasionally be intercepted by individuals with an interest in doing so. The following are a list of intercepted transmissions in the order which they were broadcast, forming the official timeline for the events of both campaigns and the galaxy at large. Observant players may notice minor discrepancies or outright lies. Sometimes the official story of what is told differs greatly from what actually transpired.

Rebel terrorists have stolen several Communications Satellites from a research skyhook on Orron 3. Corporate Sector Security forces attempted to apprehend the terrorists and lost several vessels in the process. The skyhook itself was also destroyed.

Newly elected senator Canna Omonda of Chandrila has already met with disgrace after a Chandrilan "Data Dagger" was found in her possessions. The senator claims the device is a family heirloom but failed to register it upon her arrival on Coruscant, citing "excitement and travel fatigue."

Trasi in Trouble: Terrorism and Hate crimes, but are the two linked?
Not far from the demolished ruins that used to be the Royal Gaza Hotel is a small, quaint cottage of Lannik styling. It was in this home that the vivisected body of an Ithorian was found. Local authorities commented that "other than the body itself, there is literally zero evidence of any kind."
Sources have speculated that the destruction of the Royal Gaza Hotel was in fact a terrorist attack, and that a large number of bodies recovered from the wreckage were traced back to a militia known as the Outer Ordkastian Vanguard. An OOV representative refused to comment, but was later overheard declaring that "the ithorian got what was coming to him."

Lucky Mules not so lucky after all! This vicious pirate organization was completely dismantled during a sting operation on their headquarters; the asteroid ship-yard Borgo Prime. During a surprise strike the Imperial Navy's Mythmaker and its crew were able to subdue the base and apprehend its occupants, all without firing a shot.

The embargo of Mon Calamari continues. Following an unsuccessful revolt by its inhabitants the Empire has moved government officials from the planet's surface to an orbital platform, where they continue to perform their duties. Trade and Travel to the world is currently prohibited for the safety of all parties but is expected to resume in the near future.

Contract disputes between the Imperial Navy and starship manufacturer Galentro-Heavy Works have stalled the production of a fleet of new Enforcer class cruisers. A GHW representative claims that certain aspects of the cruisers are more complicated than the initial contract outlined and that their manufacturing facility is struggling with some of the classified materials.

An uprising on the planet of Gerrad V has been put down by the Empire. By the time Imperial Forces were able to contain the rebels they had already destroyed many priceless artifacts. The local art economy is not expected to recover for quite some time.

In a surprise announcement Emperor Palpatine has revealed the creation of a new rank of Imperial Officer known as the Grand Admiral. These twelve officers would report directly to the Emperor and the ranks are expected to be filled during the next New Year Celebration Parade.

Skyhooks are all the rage, and even the Wookie homeworld of Kashyyyk is getting one. Once completed the Skyhook is expected to allow for an even greater number of Wookie Workers to emigrate from the planet.

Destruction on Dantooine: Imperial forces bravely defended themselves against an unprovoked attack by organized terrorists on the planet Dantooine.
The crew of the Mythmaker were enjoying a much deserved shore leave on the surface and had opted to donate their time to help renovate one of the ancient Dantari fortressess. These brave men and women were attacked by cowardly terrorists but no soldier of the Empire is ever unprepared, and they were able to turn the tides and swiftly dispatch the attackers.
Unfortunately for historians and the citizens of Dantooine, the terrorists were able to cause an incredible amount of damage to the Dantari Fortress before they were subdued, and many citizens lost their lives as the fortress fell.
Among the confirmed dead at this time are Bria Tharen of Corellia, Jax Keyn of Chandrilla, and Breha Organa of Alderaan. These unfortunate souls refused to believe the propaganda espoused by the terrorists and were executed by them before Imperial forces could intervene.

Chaos and confusion ignited on an Imperial Troop Transport when dozens of small explosions rocked the ship. Investigators have concluded that the MSE droids assigned to the vessel had been modified as a hazing prank and that this caused them to malfunction. Imperial Officials assure us that this was an isolated, tragic event.

Corporate Sector Security announces the capture of the terrorists responsible for a string of thefts and attacks on and around Orron III. CSS forces deny the involvement of a group of Mercenaries hailing from Hutt space but datapads found at the scene contradict these claims.

Cloud City Administrator Dominic Raynor, having recently recovered from an attempted coup in which he was critically injured, vowed to put an end to the unfair labor practices that had been plauging the city.
Evidence collected during and after the foiled coup attempt puts much of the blame squarely on the Unionized Gangs that supposedly protected worker interests but instead grossly extorted them. Administrator Raynor pledged that Cloud City Security would work tirelessly to dismantle these gangs and ensure a safe working environment with fair wages earned for all citizens and employees.

Pioneers of the planet Zeta-0-9 have recently filed dozens of reports concerning missing people, alarming even for a planet in such a distant system. Adding even more confusion to the crisis is the sworn testimony by some of the supposed victims claiming that they never disappeared at all.

Artists and Bankers across the galaxy celebrated as the planet Ralltiir, with the aide of the Empire, ends its bitter civil war. Ralltiir will resume its exquisite marble exports and will retain its role as one of the galaxy's main currency exchange hubs.

The Sullustan moon of Sulon has formally joined the Empire. Negotiations included representatives of SoroSuub Corporation, who petitioned the moon's independent government to seek Imperial recognition.

Tremors on Trasi: The city of Jelun weathered a severe earthquake erupting from deep underground. Officials say there is no cause for alarm and that this was an isolated incident they were expecting, but did not announce so as to avoid a panic.

Disgraced political activist Sian Tevv of Sullust was tried and executed for terrorism and treason after attempting to organize a Sullustan rebellion against SoroSuub Corporation. Also implicated in these crimes are Jenssar SoBilles of Duros and Prush Dowmeia of Mon Calamari.
Sullust's ties to the empire deepend as it was a team of ISB operatives who uncovered the plot and alerted local authorities of the impending attacks, saving hundreds of lives.

The Sepan Civil War, having raged for decades, has finally been ended by Imperial efforts. Admiral Harkov, commanding a small fleet from the bridge of the Protector, successfully oversaw the signing of a peace treaty between the Ripoblus and the Dimok ensuring that both planets would have access to Sepan-8's bountiful resources.
Part of the peace treaty stipulates that both planets will be eligible to join the Empire if they adhere to the cease fire for a period of one year.

Rumors run rampant about a new Imperial technology that allows instant communication across unlimited distances. GNN reporters interviewed several scientists who claim such a feat is simply "impossible."

The Galactic Sporting Authority is opening an official investigation into the Dellalt Precursor Games. A representative of the GSA was quoted in one interview saying "It's preposterous. You have 9 world records, 8 of which are beaten by a single participant with no active sporting record of any kind. The 9th record beaten by a Gungan who registered that morning and is another individual entirely unknown to us. And then both of them vanish without a trace instead of advancing? Utterly Ridiculous."

There is no doubt that the Automata have made tremendous advancements in cybernetics and machine biology, but rumors persist of secret crystals they use to augment themselves even further. Seizing on the popularity of these rumors many ethically challenged individuals have begun marketing and selling crystals of dubious origin as Automata Healing Crystals, targeting desperate victims too poor or superstitious for traditionally modern medical treatments.
As usual, there has been no word or comment of any kind on this subject from anyone within the Automata.
